Meet the Women Behind the BODYBAR Movement

March 24, 2021

This Women’s History Month, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women who have helped sculpt our Pilates franchise concept into what it is today. Read on to learn more about the women behind our corporate team and why they’re proud to be a part of the BODYBAR movement!

Kamille McCollum, COO

At BODYBAR, our goal is to build micro-communities inside of larger communities, creating an encouraging environment where members feel safe, supported and loved. One woman who truly embodies this mission is Kamille.

As BODYBAR’s chief operations officer and the co-owner of three Pilates studios, Kamille serves as the true definition of a BODYBAR Boss. Driven by her love for helping others and leveraging a background in service and education, she strives to make a positive impact each and every day.

“There’s never been a better time to join the BODYBAR movement,” Kamille shares with Franchise Journal. “We’re just getting started. Nothing makes me happier than providing a welcoming space where people can go to receive an amazing workout, while helping entrepreneurs realize their dreams of business ownership. This role is a gift that keeps on giving.”

Brittney Watson, Director of Marketing

With several marketing and managerial roles under her belt, and nearly four years at BODYBAR as the director of marketing, Brittney is the driving force behind our marketing strategies (and she truly sets the BAR!). Brittney also served as an interim studio manager for several months, which helped her develop a keen understanding of the BODYBAR movement at the ground level.

“At BODYBAR, we’re more than just a team. We’re a family that challenges and motivates each other to work hard and appreciate one another day in and day out,” Brittney shares. “Every time I step into one of our studios, I’m so inspired by the amazing community-centric energy that we’ve all created together.”

Erica Naderi, Director of Instructor Training

Boasting a passion for movement, self-discovery and holistic transformation, Erica leads BODYBAR’s instructor training. She has taught Reformer Pilates since 2014 and is trained and certified in the BODYBAR Pilates method. Her other licenses and certifications include:

  • Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES)
  • Comprehensive Pilates Education
  • National Certified Pilates Teacher

“The variety of formats offered at BODYBAR Pilates allows us to better serve every gender, age, lifestyle and body type,” says Erica. “I never put boundaries on anything I do and encourage my clients to do the same. We should always be learning and challenging ourselves, especially when it comes to health and wellness.”

Nancy J. Baio, Director of Franchise Development

Nancy joined BODYBAR in 2020 as the director of franchise development, following a 25-year long career in the medical sales industry. Throughout her career, Nancy worked for companies like Pfizer, Bristol Myers and Becton Dickenson in addition to several start-ups in the disruptive technology space.

Her experience in building relationships within such a competitive industry has launched her career into an exciting new phase with BODYBAR, working with candidates to help them achieve their dreams of business ownership in the Pilates space.

“I’ve always had a passion for sales, but this new opportunity with BODYBAR is particularly exciting,” says Nancy. “I truly believe in the business model – each studio creates its own unique community, and you can see how transformative the program is for each member. I am excited to help more people reach their entrepreneurial goals and grow the BODYBAR community across the nation.”

These are just a few of the incredible women who play a part in creating the energizing environment our members and franchisees have come to know and love at BODYBAR. They embody the supportive community we’ve created, and we’re so appreciative of their dedication and drive.
