Investment & Financial Requirements

The estimated initial investment for a single BODYBAR studio ranges from $389,964 to $759,356, with a median investment of $583,931. This includes a nonrefundable franchise fee of $60,000 due upon signing the franchise agreement. Detailed cost breakdowns are outlined in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Yes. Franchise partners are responsible for recurring fees, including a 7% weekly royalty, a 2% marketing fund contribution, a monthly technology fee, and standard operating expenses. Full details are available in Item 6 of the FDD.

BODYBAR does not directly offer financing; however, many franchise partners work with third-party lenders. Our team can provide general guidance on common financing pathways during the discovery process.

Training & Support

Yes. All franchise partners complete structured new franchisee training prior to opening. Training requirements vary slightly depending on the selected ownership model and are designed to ensure operational readiness before launch.

Yes. All instructors must complete BODYBAR’s instructor certification program to ensure consistency, safety, and brand-standard class delivery across the system.

Franchise owners may complete instructor certification if they wish to teach. Teaching is optional and depends on the selected ownership structure.

Yes. Our in-house real estate team supports demographic review, site selection guidance, and lease negotiation throughout the development process.

Franchise partners receive ongoing operational, marketing, and performance support following launch. This includes structured communication touchpoints, campaign resources, technology systems, and systemwide education initiatives.

Operations

Timelines vary based on market conditions, real estate selection, and buildout factors. Most franchise partners move from agreement to opening within several months, depending on development progress.

Prior Pilates experience is not required. However, leadership capability, financial readiness, and commitment to operational standards are essential. Owners who do not teach must hire a qualified studio manager and certified instructors.
