Small Wins
Never underestimate the power of a small goal. By the time it becomes habit your body will be changing. For us, fitness must be viewed as a lifestyle decision. We build muscle pretty quickly but we lose it just as fast. Seeing a fitness program as temporary, immediately lowers the probability for long-term success.
Being active supports brain function in addition to the more external motivators such as looking the way we want to. When we can see past these more temporary, extrinsic motivators and start to love the way we FEEL, it’s easier to get to the gym because we know that doing so will make us perform better, sleep better, react more rationally and live longer. After that, getting your body to LOOK the way you want it to will just be a side effect.
