100 Years. 100 Studios. 100 Reformers. 1 Record-Breaking Event

100 Years. 100 Studios. 100 Reformers. 1 Record-Breaking Event

On September 13, 2026, BODYBAR set the national record for the largest reformer Pilates class on record, bringing together 100 participants on 100 reformers for one unforgettable 50-minute class.

Hosted at the Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star in Frisco, Texas, the event celebrated 100 transformative years of Pilates, the opening of BODYBAR’s 100th studio, and the incredible community that helped us reach both milestones.

The Largest Reformer Pilates Class on Record

The record-setting class was led by Kamille McCollum, BODYBAR Chief Brand Officer, President, Co-Founder and certified BODYBAR Pilates instructor, alongside a skilled team of fellow BODYBAR instructors.

The event was independently organized and documented using standards consistent with formal record-keeping organizations, with participant counts, photography and video captured to verify the achievement.

And while seeing 100 reformers lined up together was pretty amazing, seeing 100 members of the BODYBAR community moving in unison was the part that made the day feel so special.

Celebrating 100 Years of Pilates

The number 100 wasn’t chosen by accident.

In 1926, Joseph and Clara Pilates opened their first Pilates studio in New York City. Pilates has evolved tremendously over the last century,  but the power of intentional movement continues to bring people together.

We wanted to mark the occasion by creating a distinctly welcoming BODYBAR experience where participants could see and feel the difference of our accessible, community-centric approach.

This event is a testament to how far both Pilates and BODYBAR have come and the incredible fitness communities built along the way. Cheers to 100 more years!

— Kamille McCollum, Chief Brand Officer, President & Co-Founder of BODYBAR

It was the perfect way to celebrate the staying power of Pilates while looking ahead to everything still to come.

100 BODYBAR Studios and Counting

The record-breaking class also came just five days after BODYBAR reached a milestone of its own.

On September 8, BODYBAR opened its 100th studio in Presidio in North Fort Worth, Texas, bringing the celebration back to the market where it all began.

That growth has always been about more than putting pins on a map. Every BODYBAR studio is built around the people who walk through its doors: the clients who show up for themselves, the instructors who encourage them, and the franchise owners who create spaces where people can move, connect and feel at home.

$10,000 for Women’s Cancer Research and Education

The event also gave us the opportunity to make an impact beyond the studio.

In recognition of September’s Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month, BODYBAR donated $10,000 to the Foundation for Women’s Cancer—$100 for every reformer in the room. The organization supports people affected by gynecologic cancers through education, research and public awareness.

It Took All of Us

A record of this size doesn’t happen alone.

Balanced Body® supplied all 100 reformers, with McCollister’s managing shipping, setup and installation. Pilabarre provided grip socks for the class, FitRadio brought the on-site soundtrack and TAVI commemorated the moment with custom “100” grip socks for participants.

From the partners behind the scenes to the 100 people moving together on the floor, the event was a fitting celebration of what BODYBAR has always been about: community.

One hundred years of Pilates. One hundred BODYBAR studios. One unforgettable class.

Cheers to the next 100!
