Which BODYBAR Class Is Right for You?
Your Guide to Finding the Perfect Class (Without Overthinking It)
You looked at the different BODYBAR classes. Names like PERFORMANCE, AGILITY, FUSION, RESET, and PRECISION…and thought:
“Wait…am I supposed to know what these mean?”
Every single BODYBAR member has looked at the schedule for the first time and wondered where to start. And there isn’t a wrong answer.
Every class is built on the same Pilates foundation. The difference isn’t whether one class is “better” than another; it’s simply how you want to move that day.
Some days you want to sweat. Some days you want to build strength. Some days your body politely informs you that today is a stretching kind of day. We’ve got a class for all of the different ways you want to move.
You Don’t Need Pilates Experience.

Here’s something we want everyone to hear:
You do not need to “get in shape” before coming to BODYBAR.
Seriously.
You don’t need to memorize Pilates terminology, have perfect balance, or know what the springs do or how many to attach.
Our instructors will coach you through every movement, offer modifications whenever you need them, and meet you exactly where you are that day.
Whether you’re returning to exercise after years away…cross-training for another sport or recovering from months of sitting behind a laptop. You belong here.
The only question is:
What kind of workout sounds fun today?
PERFORMANCE
For the “Let’s Do This” Days
This is BODYBAR’s signature athletic class. PERFORMANCE leaves you feeling like you could conquer your inbox, meal prep for the week, and reorganize the garage before dinner.
(We’re kidding. Mostly.)
Expect dynamic movement, elevated heart rates, and that wonderfully satisfying feeling of muscles saying,
“Oh…so we’re working today.”
You’ll probably love PERFORMANCE if…
- You walk into the studio ready to work.
- You enjoy athletic workouts.
- You like breaking a sweat.
- Strength and endurance matter.

PRECISION

Slow Down. Tune In. Get Stronger.
PRECISION has a sneaky way of introducing you to muscles you didn’t even know existed.
Instead of moving faster, you’ll move smarter.
You’ll learn proper alignment, improve body awareness, and build incredible control that makes every other BODYBAR class even better.
This is where confidence starts. Many of our new members start here.
You’ll love PRECISION if…
- You like feeling every tiny muscle wake up.
- You’re new to Pilates.
- You enjoy mindful movement.
- You want exceptional form.
AGILITY
Cardio Lovers, Meet Your New Favorite Workout.
AGILITY combines Pilates precision with athletic cardio for a workout that’s energetic, challenging, and surprisingly fun.
If you’ve been wondering,
“Can Pilates actually get my heart rate up?”
Allow us to introduce you to the Jumpboard.
Best of all?
It’s low impact, so your joints stay happy while your heart gets the workout it deserves.
You’ll love AGILITY if…
- You leave workouts saying, “That flew by.”
- You love cardio.
- You miss the feeling of moving fast.
- You want endurance without pounding the pavement.

FUSION

Because Variety Is Half the Fun.
FUSION mixes different equipment, props, and movement patterns to create a workout that feels fresh every time you walk through the studio doors.
Some people love routines. Others start getting bored by Tuesday. No two FUSION classes are exactly alike. Which means your body never stops adapting.
You’ll love FUSION if…
- You never want your workouts to feel repetitive.
- You enjoy variety.
- You like being pleasantly surprised.
- You love trying new challenges.
STRENGTH
For People Who Love To Feel Their Full Power.
STRENGTH focuses on controlled resistance, stability, and muscular endurance using the Reformer and Chair. It’s challenging and focused.
If your favorite part of any workout is that delicious muscle fatigue afterward…
Welcome home.
And yes…
Your arms may write you a strongly worded letter tomorrow.
You’ll love STRENGTH if…
- You appreciate a workout that sneaks up on you.
- Building muscle is one of your goals.
- You enjoy resistance training.
- You love feeling stronger every week.

RESET

Because Recovery Is Training, Too.
RESET is designed to help your body recover, improve mobility, reduce tension, and leave you feeling like someone hit the refresh button.
Here’s your reminder:
Rest isn’t something you earn. It’s part of getting stronger.
Think of it as maintenance for the amazing body that gets you through life every day.
You’ll love RESET if…
- You’re feeling tight.
- Your body needs a breather.
- Stress has been living in your shoulders.
- You want to move better, not just move more.

How Members Use BODYBAR

The members who’ve been coming to BODYBAR the longest usually don’t take just one class format.
They mix them.
A little PERFORMANCE.
Some PRECISION.
RESET when life gets stressful.
BALANCE 40 after a busy week.
Because your body doesn’t need the same thing every day.
Find Your Favorite…
Then Find Your Next Favorite.
Most people walk into BODYBAR hoping to become stronger. And they absolutely do.
But along the way, they also discover something unexpected.
Movement becomes something they look forward to instead of something they have to talk themselves into.
- Confidence grows.
- Energy returns.
- Stress quiets down.
And somewhere between your first class and your fiftieth…
BODYBAR starts feeling less like a workout and more like one of the best parts of your week.
So pick a class.
Walk through the door.
We’ll take it from there.
Raise your BAR. We’ll help you every step of the way.

Frequently Asked Questions About BODYBAR Classes
PRECISION is a wonderful place to start because it focuses on alignment, control, and learning the foundational principles of Pilates. BALANCE 40 is another great option if you’re looking for a slower-paced class centered on mobility and recovery.
That said, there isn’t a “wrong” first class. Every BODYBAR instructor is trained to offer guidance, modifications, and encouragement so you can move confidently at your own pace.
Most of the classes are 50 minutes. One exception: the BALANCE 40, which is 40 minutes.
Many members join BODYBAR because they’re looking for a fresh start in fitness, not because they’re already fitness experts.
Our classes are designed to challenge you, not compare you to anyone else. Every movement can be modified, and your instructor will help you find options that feel both safe and effective for your body.
Everyone starts somewhere. We’re just happy you’re here.
PERFORMANCE is your athletic, energy-filled workout. Expect dynamic movement, elevated heart rates, muscular endurance, and a satisfying full-body challenge.
PRECISION slows things down so you can focus on alignment, control, and technique. You’ll build incredible strength through intentional movement while deepening your understanding of how your body moves.
Neither class is “better.” They’re simply designed for different goals.
After challenging your muscles in STRENGTH, RESET gives your body time to recover, improve mobility, release tension, and restore movement quality.
Many members enjoy mixing higher-intensity classes with recovery-focused formats throughout the week to help their bodies feel strong, balanced, and ready for whatever comes next.
Many members see great results attending 2–3 classes per week, while others enjoy coming more often by mixing athletic formats with recovery-focused classes like RESET or BALANCE 40.
But how many classes you take depends on your goals, schedule, and how your body feels.
The best routine is the one you can stick with consistently. Remember, fitness isn’t about having one perfect week; it’s about building habits that support you for the long run.
Absolutely, and we encourage mixing class formats.
Each BODYBAR class is designed with a different focus, whether that’s strength, endurance, cardio, mobility, or recovery. Mixing class formats helps create a balanced fitness routine while keeping your workouts fresh and engaging.
You might challenge yourself with PERFORMANCE one day, refine your technique in PRECISION the next, and recharge with RESET later in the week.
Your body loves variety. And chances are, so will you.
Just bring yourself, comfortable workout clothes, grippy socks, and a water bottle.
Arrive 15 minutes early, so your instructor can introduce you to the Reformer, answer any questions, and help you feel comfortable before class begins.
After that? Just focus on breathing, moving, and enjoying the experience.
No one expects perfection on your first day. Or really any day. We’re not that kind of place.
We simply can’t wait to welcome you to the studio.
